Default How to tell a side's advantage from the borderline?

Do the battles at Fort Aspen and Jade Quarry even affect the borderline? Or is it only affected by the alliance battles?

So basically, when the line is longer and extends into the sea, it means Luxons are losing; and while it's shorter, the Kurzicks are losing?

I dont know if those missions effect it, but 12v12 does. If the line is being pushed right Kurziks are winning, if the line is being pushed left Luxon are winning

How does advantage affect other aspects of the game? I don't see outposts switching sides, etc.
